ANNOUNCING NEW GENERATION SATURDAY SCHOLARS
The goal of NGEN Saturday Scholars is to assist, and help prepare students and their parents for life after high school (college and career options). The sessions meet on the second Saturday of each month, beginning September 13th at 9:00 am. This is available to all students between 7th and 12th grades. ALSO the Saturday Scholars program is looking for a few great volunteers! Let us come together as the RHEMA family and finish strong as we approach our 3 year commitment deadline in November 2008. Today, as we enter the season of the end of our thirty six (36) months of giving, we desire to “finish strong.” Our Phase 2 Giving and Building Campaign began on November, 2005 and we will end the 36 months Campaign on November, 2008.
STRATEGIES FOR SUCCESSFUL MARRIAGES-WORKSHOPS
Join other married couples for the first of (3) monthly sessions that will support what God has started in your marriage development. We will share strategies and wisdom to build and restore your marriages. The workshops will begin on Saturday, October 4, 2008.from 9:00 am-10:00 am. The next workshops will be in November and December. Registration forms are available in the lobby or in the Plexiglas.

SOMALI OUTREACH MINISTRY
“REACHING THE LOST”
Please join us for our monthly training class. We will meet the 2nd Tuesday of every month beginning on Tuesday, October 14th at 7:00 pm in Room 207. This training is to prepare and equip the saints with an understanding of the Islam religion so we can be more effective in reaching out to our Somali neighbors and Muslims in general. “BACK TO THE BASICS OF
BIBLICAL HEALING”
Classes will be held on Saturday’s beginning on October 11th from 11:00 am-12:30 pm. The class will be meeting in the lower level. The registration forms are available in the Plexiglas. AMISH TRIP
Join us on this exciting trip through the countryside of northeast Ohio to Berlin, Sugarcreek and the Walnut creek area for all of the fall foliage, sites, shops, tours and buggy rides on Saturday, October 18th. The cost is $50.00. We will

TRAINING CLASSES
Rhema Christian Center is introducing our new Phillips and 2-by-2 Outreach Training classes which is a 5-week training class comprised of Personal Workers Training, Four Spiritual Laws, and How to Share Jesus without Fear. Classes will start on Saturday, October 18th from 9:00 am-12 Noon in rooms 208/209. There is a $5.00 fee for the class and you must purchase in our bookstore both the Share Jesus Without Fear book by William Fay and the Personal Evangelism New Testament Bible by Holman. NO CHILD LEFT BEHIND - FREE AFTER SCHOOL TUTORING
Dayspring Christian CDC will be providing Free After School Tutoring in reading and math at Rhema Christian Center beginning mid-October, Tuesdays & Thursdays, 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm in the Welcome Center. You may pick up a Supplemental Services registration form and brochure in the Plexiglas next to the Rhema Café. Under the No Child Left Behind Act, if your child attends one of the qualifying, low-performing Columbus City Schools, you may select Dayspring Christian CDC as your Supplemental Education Services Provider. HALLELUJAH NIGHT
We are back at Magic Mountain Polaris for a night of fun, food and games on Thursday, October 30th from 6:00 pm-9:00 pm. The cost for children 3-18 is $7.00 per child, Adults (over 18) is $10 per person. The cost includes pizza, drink and tokens which can be used for arcade games, race cars and laser tag.
