Goals:
1. To put into action all the leadership and discipleship teaching and training we receive as we "practice being nice".
2. Facilitate a new member's connection to the church by matching a Friend to every new member or family seeking to join the church.
3. Assure that those who start the new member process complete the appropriate steps for membership-Kingdom Foundation Classes and water baptism, if needed.
4. Refer people to appropriate Bible study classes and ministry opportunities.
5. Evaluate the overall new member assimilation process of the church and recommend changes in other ministries that will help new members become connected more easily.
6. Close the backdoor of church participation by assuring that new members are very connected to the church up front.
7. Become united as we develop a friendly lifestyle.
8. Promote a since of excitement, accomplishment and fulfillment, especially in those who are not involved in any ministries and bring about unity, harmony and a since of belonging.

Acts 2:41-47 (The Message)

41 That day about three thousand took him at his word, were baptized and were signed up. 42 They committed themselves to the teaching of the apostles, the life together, the common meal, and the prayers. 43 Everyone around was in awe-all those wonders and signs done through the apostles! 44 And all the believers lived in a wonderful harmony, holding everything on common. 45 They sold whatever they owned and pooled their resources so that each person's needs were met.

46 They followed a daily discipline of workship in the Temple followed by meals at home, every meal a celebration, exuberant and joyful, 47 as they praised God. People in general liked what they saw. Everyday their number grew as God added those who were saved.
