Scripture Reference for the Ministry
The man said, this is bone of my bones and flesh of my
flesh; she shall be called “woman” for she was taken
out of man. For this reason a man will leave his father
and mother and be united to his wife, and they will
become one flesh. Genesis 2:23-24

Wives submit to your husbands as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of wife as Christ is the head of the church, His body, of which He is the Savior.

Statement of Purpose:
The Marriage Life Department is designed to be an encouraging ministry to married couples and to help them explore the benefits and joys of a strong marriage. We seek to assist couples in examining, building and/or repairing their marriage relationships by providing various avenues to study and be fed Biblical principles for dealing with married life issues.

Mission:
It is our desire to offer a complete ministry to our families. Our Family and Marriage-Life Department is committed
to helping people incorporate God’s design and order into
their marriage relationships and families. We are also
committed to become and model Christ change agents in
our homes, the community and the nations.

Ministry Requirements:
We currently have several couples serving on our Marriage Life Department’s Leadership team. However, we need additional couples to join us who sense a calling to minister to other couples. To be a part of the Marriage Life Department's Leadership team, you must: • Be a born-again married couple • Be members of Rhema Christian Center
• Have a heart to minister to other couples
• Be willing and available to serve
