Building Blocks for Growth Ministry (BBFG)
Their mission is to impart to all newcomers/members how vital they are to the growth and expansion of the ministry of Rhema Christian Center, and that this is a place for them to mature and to minister in their areas of gifting and ability. This ministry passes out booklets and give instructions regarding the rules and regulations of the Newcomers’,
Discipleship, and Ministry Preparation classes held on Sunday mornings.

Comfort & Support Ministries
This ministry provides comfort and support to members and their families after the lost of a loved one. They also provide the food for the family after the funeral services. They draw the unsaved to Christ, by showing love and concern.

The purpose of the Communications Department (Media) is to create print and digital media to communicate to the congregation. Our vision is to provide professional, diverse collateral pieces that will be a reflection of Christ in our corporate congregation. Cultural Connections
The mission is to unite with the church of Columbus to serve people in such a manner that it builds a bridge of relationship and trust so that Jesus can walk across it and His love can penetrate their hearts. They will do this by letting the light and love of God be seen through them as they serve among them, trusting that they will be drawn to the Savior through the testimony of their lives. They must be ready to care for them, protect them, and disciple them.

Faith In Action - Volunteers
Their purpose is to recruit and train volunteers to assist in meeting the needs of the elderly and disabled. They identify clients and help them remain independent. They want to be a family, church and community
partnership which strives to end isolation for the home bound and demonstrates faith through service.

First Friday Intercessory Prayer Ministry
They are a group of believers that are called Intercessors, interceding on the behalf of others, building a wall of prayer for someone else, standing in the gap with a hedge of faith building prayers.

Greeters Ministry
The purpose is to welcome members and visitors to Rhema Christian Center with a friendly smile, a hug and/or a

Half-Time
Their mission is to uncover each half timer’s unique gifts and strengths in the Body of Christ and to work with Church Leaders to identify areas within the church in need of leadership. They begin to place half timers into these positions of Ministry for effectiveness.

Hospital Visitation (Pastoral Care Team Ministry)
The purpose of this ministry is:
• To visit members in the hospital and offer prayers of healing and comfort as well as other services.

I.G.N.I.T.E. is a poetry/Spoken Word ministry for youth ages 12-18.

Impact Ministry
The Impact Ministry provides an opportunity for seniors (50 yrs and up) to come together to share interest, concerns, gifts and talents with one another. It lends itself to working together to find solutions that will

Information Center
This ministry is an extension of the greeters’ ministry. When people come in, they sometimes have questions that need special attention. They are directed to the Information Center. The Information Center will help with answering questions for our members and guests. When we have conferences, concerts, and out-of-town speakers, we will assist them with the selling of their products, such as tapes videos, books, and CDs.

Master’s Touch Ministry
The purpose is to contact new people the following week that they join and introduce themselves to them as a support person. They will set a time that is convenient for them to talk and pray if needed. They will also try to motivate them, encourage them and help them stay knowledgeable about the activities taking place at the church. Their support extends until the person agrees to enter their own personal ministry in the area God has directed them.

Men’s Department
Their purpose is to reach men in the following five groups: 1. The unsaved. 2. The culture Christians (Sunday only) 3. The hurting, the angry. 4. The ones desiring to be discipled. 5. The ones desiring to become leaders. To identify, recruit and train men to be leaders. To develop on-going discipleship and relational training. To mobilize armed trained men to do spiritual warfare.

Overhead Projection Ministry
The purpose is to project the words to the songs on screen during praise and worship. To assure that everyone will be able to learn the words to all of the songs that are sung at Rhema Christian Center. To display any other important information during service to eliminate disruptions.

This ministry ministers to those who respond to the altar call at each service. Our mission is to effectively communicate the Gospel with ease, confidence and boldness in order to bring the unsaved into a personal relationship with the Savior.

This ministry ministers to the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of women within the body of Christ locally and abroad. Also, they promote wholeness in the lives of women by exemplifying humility, love and unity, which reflect the heart of God.

Women With Courage
(CHAZAQ: bold, brave, and courageous)
This ministry will provide a series of classes designed for teen women and young women who have become mothers outside of marriage. Christ-centered classes provide spiritual guidance, loving encouragement, parenting information, and educational direction, in a relaxed atmosphere. Each young woman will have a mentor to provide spiritual support for one year.
