Have you ever gone on a shopping trip looking for
that very special dress? One that was unique and
uncommon. You ventured through store after store
searching for that extraordinary garment that was
above the common. Yet, time after time each garment
you picked up was plain and ordinary. Inside you’re
telling yourself, “This one won’t do, it’s too ordinary!”
Finally your eyes behold a garment, which is so beautiful
and dazzling that it gets the attention of bystanders. The
store clerk remarks, “That garment just came in today
and is a one-of-a-kind design by a very special designer.”
You rush to the garment, try it on and it’s a perfect fit!
It is a garment so special that no price is too great to pay.

In 2008, we have proclaimed this as the year of God’s
Extraordinary Women. A year where we come away from
the mundane, as we search and find that special place in
God which captures the attention of bystanders. Our God
is a very special designer who has empowered us to be
extraordinary women. So go ahead try on the extraordinary
grace and favor of God for your life, which has arrived just
for you. Perfect fit huh! Remember no price is too great
because the ordinary just won’t do!

Now unto him Who, by in consequence of the action of
His power that is at work within us, is able to carry out
His purpose and do superabundantly, far over and above
all that we dare to ask or think infinitely beyond our
highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams...
